Re: [MARINE_BIOLOGY_INTERNATIONAL] Re: Infant dolphin deaths in the Gulf of Mexico

... yes, it is another tragic cost of oil to life on Earth... and it's also tragic that almost no one in the public even knows this is happening to dolphins and whales worldwide... and even to our own grand children... when i was living in the Fla Keys and scuba diving with the coral reef restoration team, even the high ranks from NOAA said they did not know about it... they thought the only think killing the reefs was the increasing SST (temperatures)... please see: http://ecodelmar.org/pcb

... industry appears to have a tight lid on the media about this... just  think of how many people mistakenly believe cancer is caused by high power electric lines... when that's not the case... the cancer problem is caused by those transformers that were filled with PCBs... when they become rusty and leak... they leak the vapors downwind... (these transformers have been installed world wide)... to make matters worse... when they replace the transformers... they dumped the highly toxic PCB OIL into the rivers that obviously lead to the Oceans... then it gets absorbed into the plastic... and bio-accumulates up the food chain... please see: http://ecodelmar.org/pcb

... i am grateful for marine biologists like Stephan Palumbi and websites like www.TED.com ... that are bringing the research out into the open for the public to understand what's going on in our Oceans...

... in a recent article about years of industrial destruction to the northeast US waterways... the typical industrial spokesperson reply was, well, the people didn't raise their voice to complain... (about the cancer) ... so industry just left the waterways and the public drinking water as a cancerous problem for the taxpayers to clean up... LINK: http://ecodelmar.org/drinking_water/

... and now science tells us that the Oceans of phytoplankton have dropped 40% since the 1950's... exactly when the major river dumping of industrial waste like PCB's started occurring...

... all this ... from a total lack of respect for the very same Nature in our Oceans that gives us all Life... and what did we give back... http://ecodelmar.org/pcb

...  then industry tried to hide it... saying it's all cause by "rain water" from the sky... and still industry wants more loopholes to dump even more toxic chemicals into the Oceans... let's hope we can bring this into the light enough to get industry to wake up and smell the Oceans... while we still have some dolphins and whales hanging onto Life... http://ecodelmar.org/MBA_blindness
