Dear colleagues,

The Law School of the Romanian American University invites you to respond to the

following Call for Papers and participate in the 4th International Law Symposium

on "Legal Contemporary Institutions within the context of the European
Integration" that will be held in Bucharest, Romania, on November 12 - 13,
2010.The event is organized in close cooperation with and financially supported
by the National Authority for Scientific Research of Romanian Ministry for
Education and Research.

 
CALL FOR PAPERS

The integration process of new countries into the European Union, as well as the

continuous EU legal and political challenges determined us to consider the topic

of „legal contemporary institutions within the context of the European
integration" one, which is of great interest to be addressed.

Permanently, the EU and its Member States need to come up with strategies to
adapt the integration process to the specific judicial and educational needs of
the region. In this context, the Symposium will address the following subjects:
- Legal Protection of Human Rights/Plenary;
- Higher Educational Reform based on the Bologna Process/Plenary;
- Facts and Perspectives of the Romanian Judicial System in the context of the
European Integration of Romania/Plenary.

The participants' papers will be reviewed, edited and published as printed and
online conference proceedings

Paper abstracts should be sent by e-mail to silvia.martis@ rau.ro, no latter
than November 4, 2010. It should be one page in length and must be accompanied
by a short Resume.

Applicants selected by the organizing committee for participation in the event
and/or publication of their papers will receive further information. The final
publishing paper should have no more than 2 000 words. For citations, formatting

and grammar style we kindly recommend you to follow The Chicago Manual of Style
but, it is not compulsory. The final publishing paper has to be sent to the
organizers by November 5, 2010.

The e-NASS, outnumbering 5300 subscribers, aims to deepen interaction for further inter/intra/trans/multi-disciplinary communication within the academic community of scholars, professionals and students from all branches of social sciences. The language of communication at e-NASS is English; however, contributions in other languages are highly welcomed should they include an abstract in English. This e-network enthusiastically encourages its members to disseminate and share announcements of Call for Papers, Fellowships/Scholarships, Conferences, Graduate Programs, Websites, Publications, Summer Schools, Jobs, Internships and etc. If you have any scholarly announcement concerning social sciences, please do not hesitate to share it within this e-community. The e-NASS is essentially generalist to revive renaissance wo/men with global and historical perspectives covering from the mist-shrouded steppes of Asia to the sun-drenched African, American and European shores without neglecting the exotic Oceania. In order to protect its subscribers vis-�-vis the virus-spreading, hoax and spam e-mails, the e-NASS is strictly moderated while e-mails containing attachments are automatically removed. This e-network discourages commercial advertisements as well as it is essentially irrelevant to any form of activism or advocacy of any particular perspective.
