[MARINE_BIOLOGY_INTERNATIONAL] concern

 

With the retreat of Arctic ice, shorter shipping lanes will become available. The pollution from one supertanker is like hundreds of thousands of automobiles. This will create havoc in the delicate environment. Are there any protections availavle for the Arctic environment? Bob Stockburger
