Tommy Lee Complains About How SeaWorld Treats Whale As Sperm Bank

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) - Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee is outraged over the way SeaWorld breeds whales. Lee and the animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are complaining about how they extract the semen of their captive orca.
Lee wrote to SeaWorld president Terry W. Prather to tell him of his disgust over they way they masturbate a killer whale. The whale in question is named Tilikum, who made national headlines for being involved in the death of three people.
The letter, obtained by TMZ, reads: "We understand that you refuse to release this frustrated whale because he is your chief sperm bank, and we know from SeaWorld's own director of safety (as well as videos on the web) that the way you get his sperm is by having someone get into the pool and masturbate him with a cow's vagina filled with hot water."
Lee claims that the act is so sick that he couldn't imagine anything worse "even during my wildest days with Motley Crue."
He continues, "Simply put, how can SeaWorld claim that trainers no longer have direct contact with this whale when they are jacking him off? That is about as 'direct' as it gets. I hope it doesn't take another tragic death for SeaWorld to realize it shouldn't frustrate these smart animals by keeping them in tanks."
Lee and his "friends at PETA" want SeaWorld to release the whale into the wild. TMZ said SeaWorld maintains that their animals always receive expert care.
