ADA Research Fellowship

The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) is pleased to announce the ADA Research
Fellowship for 2011-2012. The goal of the fellowship is to support rigorous
independent postgraduate research in all disciplines of social sciences and
humanities by young Azerbaijani scholars who are pursuing or have recently
completed PhD studies abroad. Fellowship recipients are expected to develop
their initial research proposals into full-fledged academic papers of
publishable quality. Papers will be reviewed and evaluated by a selection
committee comprised of ADA faculty and distinguished scholars from recognized
universities worldwide. The maximum amount eligible per research proposal is

ADA Conference Attendance Support Allowance
Application are accepted through February-December, 2011
The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) Conference Attendance Support Allowance
is established to stimulate and support conference attendance of young
Azerbaijani scholars, who are pursuing or have recently completed their PhD
studies abroad. The allowance covers travel expenses of scholars who wish to
present their papers at academic conferences but have difficulties meeting the
associated expenses. The maximum amount eligible per allowance is 400 AZN.For

Note: The ADA Research Fellowship and the ADA Conference Attendance Support
Allowance are components of ADA PhD Development and Support Program (PDSP).
PDSP's main goals are to reverse the brain drain from Azerbaijan, stimulate
interaction and promote a close network of Azerbaijani PhDs, facilitate
experience sharing regarding research and teaching between Azerbaijani PhDs and
international scholars, and develop a new generation of Azerbaijani scholars in

The e-NASS, outnumbering 5300 subscribers, aims to deepen interaction for further inter/intra/trans/multi-disciplinary communication within the academic community of scholars, professionals and students from all branches of social sciences. The language of communication at e-NASS is English; however, contributions in other languages are highly welcomed should they include an abstract in English. This e-network enthusiastically encourages its members to disseminate and share announcements of Call for Papers, Fellowships/Scholarships, Conferences, Graduate Programs, Websites, Publications, Summer Schools, Jobs, Internships and etc. If you have any scholarly announcement concerning social sciences, please do not hesitate to share it within this e-community. The e-NASS is essentially generalist to revive renaissance wo/men with global and historical perspectives covering from the mist-shrouded steppes of Asia to the sun-drenched African, American and European shores without neglecting the exotic Oceania. In order to protect its subscribers vis-�-vis the virus-spreading, hoax and spam e-mails, the e-NASS is strictly moderated while e-mails containing attachments are automatically removed. This e-network discourages commercial advertisements as well as it is essentially irrelevant to any form of activism or advocacy of any particular perspective. Thus, messages of discussions, demonstrations and calls to action are not permitted. When forwarding e-NASS announcements to your friends and other e-groups, signifying e-NASS as the source will be highly appreciated as extent of your courtesy.
