In support of Boston U, they have Dr. Robin Cotton whom I can tout from
many years professional acquaintance. Many will recall her testimony in the
OJ Simpson case, where her patient and lucid schoolmarmish explanations
about DNA earned her a minor fandom, and from my experience today (at a
workshop she organized) I can testify that she is a clear and insightful
teacher. Her assistant, a BU instructor, also made a good impression. I
have nothing to say by way of comparison, but if the two folks I met are
representative it is a fine environment. I think you can contact the
department of your interest (at any school) and probably get a chance to
interview some faculty if you explain your purpose.
