Dear Friends,

Good Day. Since we start our Palk Bay Centre in Feb 2011, we have received 12 schools until last week. We have been running regular coastal ecology awareness and field education programmes.

Our team has been trying our best to provide mineral drinking water, food, pamphlets, power point presentations, documentary films hall, battery backup, field trips, first aid kits and some basic ecology equipment for the students, who are mostly from remote coastal and adjacent villages. The whole package is aimed to facilitate a conservation point of view on local coastal ecosystems with fun and open mind.

We provide all this services for free of cost, for the students. The schools just have to confirm their arrival two day before, and our team do the rest for them. At the end of year 2011, I express our sincere thanks to all of you - for your valuable suggestions and feedbacks.

We expect 20-25 schools for the year 2012. Let us to get all of your wishes and blessings for this activity next year.
