************************************* The Marine and Coastal Ecology Research Center is teaming up with Dr. Heidi Pearson to offer two, week-long "Tropical Marine and Coastal Ecology" programs during July 2011 in sunny Puerto Rico! Programs include tide pool ecology, mangroves, seagrass beds, near shore coral reefs, and more. Please refer to the attached flyer for links to information and applications. These programs are designed to give anyone interested in marine ecology an educational, experience in the Caribbean in an affordable format. We anticipate the courses to fill up quickly. Places in the courses are secured with a completed application and payment on a first-come-first-served basis. Class size is limited to 8 participants and two instructors maximizing the time in this intensive program. All profits benefit humpback whale research off Puerto Rico.
